It requires independent service auditors to thoroughly assess an organization’s policies, procedures, and systems to ensure that data protection controls are designed and operating effectively. Achieving SOC 2 compliance demonstrates an organization's commitment to safeguarding customer information and maintaining high standards of security and privacy.

Our Compliance Journey
Achieving SOC 2 Type II compliance wasn’t just about meeting regulatory standards - it was about aligning our infrastructure with our values. From the beginning, Meahana has been driven by a belief that great ideas can come from anywhere, and our platform is designed to bring those ideas to light, seamlessly and securely.
We partnered with Vanta, a leader in the Trust Management space, to automate the collection of our audit evidence. Their expertise provided the strong security foundation we needed to protect our customer data. Alongside them, Advantage Partners guided us through a streamlined audit experience, ensuring we met all compliance requirements efficiently and effectively.
Our approach was clear: focus on building a secure, resilient platform that inspires confidence. Vanta helped us integrate our systems and establish the right policies and procedures to get audit-ready. Once our audit readiness was confirmed by Advantage Partners, we kicked off our Type II audit. They evaluated our controls and validated their effectiveness—delivering a favorable report shortly after our audit window ended.
